Lots of inspiring fabrics at a fabric documentary archive.
In Development: The Vintage Redux winning entry, the Jean Seberg dress from Breathless. Finding the right fabric for any project is much more of a challenge than many people realize but in this case even more so. Finding the right stripe for the right season seems like finding a needle in a haystack. I'm still looking for "the one" that would be perfect but the muslin is almost totally finished and I hope to have the sample ready very soon. In the mean time... a small peak of what's in store.

man. i am SO excited to see how that dress turns out, even though i didn't vote for it. picking the best out of three awesome choices was hard! i suppose the most complex pattern is usually the one to win out? anyway...good luck with the fabric search.
